Since April 2016, Belgium has started collecting toll on trucks that weigh more than 3,5 tons. That’s why every truck driver needs to register themselves and their vehicles in a national registry.
OK, but what’s that got to do with me?
Simple. As a part-time customer service representative for Satellic, you’ll answer any and all questions about this registration process. You will do this per phone and e-mail. One driver might send you an e-mail about the conditions surrounding the whole process. Another might have no idea what to do and is calling you for guidance. In that case, you’ll walk through the entire registration with the driver and explain everything step by step.
Training
Don’t have any experience as a customer service representative? No problem! Before you start your new job, you’ll first take part in an extensive training program that will last two weeks. Here you’ll learn different communication techniques and will get to know the company, and the registration process, better.
Working hours
The customer service department is open 24/7, and you can choose yourself if you want to work 16 to 20 hours, 20 to 26 hours or 30 to 36 hours per week.
But, as a part-time customer service representative for Satellic, you’ll get the opportunity to block one whole day and two half-days per week. During these days or hours, you will not be scheduled to work. Plus, any night time shifts will never be scheduled without consulting you first.
